I like this rig and would recommend it for most situations. I definitely recommend this for ALL MILSIM operations and heavy Long Range Recon groups. It will carry everything you need and more. When I first saw this rig the first operator role I thought of was actually the Air Force TAC-P since they need high capability comms support and get into some sticky situations themselves where having a loadout capacity like this would do them some good. The shoulder straps have just the right amount of padding and the back straps will accept a hydration pouch if you want. If not the top back straps come together with bungee cord that is perfect for keeping the straps in place.

There are a couple of unique features of this rig.

The first thing I want to point out is hte price of pouches today. What is better than having a low/mid profile rig available in the right color/ pattern already loaded down with all of the right pouches.

Let's do the math on this:

this is VS. the $168 asking price for the OPS rig.

So you can see that building your own in this configuration would be very expensive.

The rig features assisted opening open top mag pouches for your carbine or assault rifle. All you have to do is pull the tab up and it raises the mag for you so there's no more digging for your mags or trying to move the high tension bungee cords around it. If you choose not to use your dump pouches, magazines go right back in the posckets with ease.

Next I would like you to look at the actual layout. Everything is mid profile meaning it doesnt stick out very far from your body. You can see that in the "other views" photos. All of the pouches are arranged to be out of the way right where you would naturally reach for them and you can adjust the height at the adjustment point on the shoulder straps.

The rig is lightweight and very diverse. Even thought the pouches are attached each operator can customize his own load out to fit their specific needs.

OPS uses A-TACS FG webbing as well on the chest rig to go with the original intent behing the A-TACS pattern system which was a TOTAL CONCEALMENT concept.
